Hi peeps,

As I was scouring the net I found that the Golf Bi-Xenon headlamps have a switch next to the projector lens inside that flips between UK and EU driving, is this the same for the LED Bi-Xenon units of the A3?

I can only assume that when the lever is flicked up or down for different driving sides that it rotates the projector lens and causes the beam to angle differently for UK or EU roads? Or am I totally off the mark here?

Lowers the beam, doesnt give you proper lhd or rhd lights.
 
Ah that's a pain,
The LHD versions can be had for around £4-450 from Germany :(
 
wont you get away with it if there lowered
 
Doubt it come MOT time, unless I try and convince I used to live in Germany and had the car shipped over :)

Yeah, where as the kick-up is one the other side for EU versions :(
