I went to pick up my Porsche 996 Brembo's today, had to remove them myself and sheared the head off my 3/4-1/2 adaptor but it was more than worth it. got these beauty's for £200 the pair with almost new EBC redstuff pads.

A nice coat of red, some carriers and some lines and bingo! :rockwoot:

are they off the front of a 996? also what size discs are you using with them? 312mm?

Aye, if they are rears then they will be no use mate...

they are the fronts :) and they'll be on the std 312 disc's

Thats ok then.. I wouldn't bother using them on 312's... if you are getting some brackets I would plump straight for 323's

yea, definitely go for a 323 or 330mm disc. 312's are only 25mm thick so a bit on the thin side, but the geometry of the caliper is better suited to the slightly bigger disc. 330 is the geometric limit of the 96 front caliper.

Looks like a wicked bargain for £200!

323mm is off a lcr isnt it? and 330mm an r32? is that right?

I have some brand new 323mm discs if your interested? pm me if you are :)

I thought I got a good deal on my LCR Brembo's but your deal puts that to shame, nice find and enjoy the new stopping power.

Are they the same sort of callipers as what Westy has?

If it is, I think they need the lugs moving or grinding down to fit any disks thats thicker than 25mm.

They look good red

I'm running 330x28mm disks in mine and I didn't need to grind any lugs down. The pad retaining spring does rub ontop of the disk on occasion though.Guna get it on the bench grinder soon!
