Bought my Sprint Blue RS4 Avant (56) in March 2011. Had waited a while for a nice example and the paintwork was in excellent condition for the age of the car. Bought from main Audi dealer. Whilst having it Supagarded the valeter showed me that the alloys had been refurbished, and not very well. The paint is lifting from the alloy, there is overpainting and chip marks remain. I accept this is not a new car, but is it reasonable to expect a more professional job, i.e stripped to base and repainted on a car of this cost?

All views gladly accepted, as I'm not sure how I feel about it.

Car otherwise is FABULOUS!

if it was sold with "original authentic audi wheels" then yes, make a fuss about it because they are not original any more, trust me, they will only get worse....

no not acceptable at all would ask for them to be prepared properly as this will end up costing you money and tell them you want all four done

I would bring it up, nicely but sternly :)

You should have bought it up with the main dealer when you bought the car , i doubt they will do anything now as youve had it for 3 months.

As its from a main dealer then I suspect he'll get allot further than an indy, they come with year warranty anyway, so probably as its a fairly rich car, get something from them.

I picked mine up and requested the wheels be refurbed before I purchased. A month later and the paint was peeling off. Took it back and they re-painted all 4 at no cost with no arguments.

Yeah take it back as the car has a years warranty on it... When your paying dealer prices you expect top service. No excuse..
