****** mother moved ma car yesterday and scuffed both passenger side wheels on the curb - only had them little over a week... gutted.

I have read a few posts about alloy wheel repaire etc, but not sure whats best.

what are the halfords kits like?

ill post a pic shortly

pffff her yaris is battered to F**K baaaaaad driver.

I'm having a terrible week too. Last week I had all four alloys refurbed and my front bumper repainted due to stone chips. Sunday I kerbed the passenger side alloy on a really low kerb, then yesterday a learner driver slammed on in front of me and I bumped the rear............................

to say I am totally gutted is the understatement of the century.

Thats one run of bad luck dude... feel for ya.!

what alloy refurb place did you use?

does anyone know of any in the leeds area that are good?

its just the paint match that worrys me, though its such a small area ill give it a blast and post results later today

just been to Halfrauds and they told me its been 'discontinued' nice.

Hello mate, if it bothers you get wicked wheels to do a refurb. The cost varies depending on the engineer, I had mine done by chipsaway and they were charging £50 a wheel. I took the wheel back to him after scraping it and the chap said he cant do little focus repairs as he always ends up redoing the whole wheel as it looks pants to blow it in.

If you wanted to lessen the ugliness I'd sand it with some wet and dry sand paper and some water then touch it up with audi wheel paint. It can be bought off ebay for £6. I would avoid the tempation of spraying as you'll end up doing hte whole wheel, in that case I'd save yourself the £25 you'll blow on paint and sand papaer ang get it done professionally. Two days ago my only problem was a scraped alloy - now I wish that was my only problem as I have scuffed the front bumper and have zero no claims!

I meant to say I used chipsaway to fix my wheels and my bumper.

thanks for the advice dudes, i got some halfrauds £29 wheel repair. filled the holes and sanded back and reshaped. looked ok till i sprayed. the paint is much more silver than the wheel and is more matt.

other than that i did a good job.

would the audi paint you say match the MTM's?
