After seeing westle had replaced his old xenon arm i looked at mine to see what state it was in, well it wasnt even there :(.
The arm has dissappered completely, the worse thing is, the plastic arm it connects to has snapped in half aswell, so where the arm should connect on the end, theres nothing there.
Can this be replaced? It looks to connect to a plastic hosuing that seems togo into the body!

Anyone any ideas?

by the sounds of it you are referring to the level sensor and its linkage to the lower suspension arm?
if so sounds like you need a new sensor and linkage mate. sensor iirc is about £80 from audi and the linkage is about £15 also audi.

Yeah i defo need a new arm, so can i not just replace the plastic arm aswell? Do i need an entire unit?

Whole unit needs replacing mate but I araldited mine and used thin ali plate to strengthen... depends where its broken I guess..

Just at the end! Tbh bodging it seems a cheaper option haha, looks like its been broke some time, my xenons have never been high and ive had to manualy adjust them in the past.

I managed to break my rear one at the end too... its a 'bodge' thats held so far :)

Haha, come on wellys worse for tie wraps :).

Not sure mate, why are you? Also you shoudl get you n75 back tomorrow or tuesday mate, thanks again.

If i do itll have tobe sunday, working saturday :(.

Not at the ****** minute i dont haha.

Mine are lower that a grannys tits, doing my head in, even when manualy adjsuted there still low.

Its ok our lass is 20 and hers are bang tidy, tellin ya :) haha.

Both front and rear levellers have broken on mine. On front it's the screw/bolt that attaches the link arm to the wishbone and I think it's the plastic bit on the rear.

Are the parts Audi only?

Thanks

Yep and they're not that expensive so there's no point getting them elsewhere really.

Just called Bradford Audi.....

£112.27 + VAT for each part. They said you cannot get just the linkage seperately and you have to buy the complete linkage and electric motor.

I only need the linage for both front and rear, any suggestions?

Thanks

That's wrong! Are we talking about this part on the front?

Looks very similar but both front and rear on mine are shorter and straight. On front there's the black box where the plug connects and it has a black plastic arm which connects to a metal tie bar which connects to a plate which is screwed down to the front wishbone and on the rear all I have seen is the metal tie bar that connects to the rear suspension assembly. Ball joint on one end and screw for the other end.

Yeah that's the same bit. The front one should be slightly bent like my pic, unless the S3 one is different!

What's broken on yours, the plastic sensor or the metal part in the pic above?

The metal part was no more than £15 if i remember correctly.

Dam it guys, I used the search function while in 8P thinking it would only search in 8P section..... It didn't!

On the front it's the metal bit. The ball joint screw where it attaches to the plate which connects to the wishbone has snapped and on the back if I remember correctly it is the plastic arm so may araldite it.

Yeah there must be a cheaper fix then getting bent over the counter at Audi and having foreign objects inserted into your jaxy!

May just leave them disconnected and adjust xenon's manually by the white adjuster things behind them. Worked before until the front level adjust snapped last week!

Thanks for help anyway.

Worth a punt, I araldite'd my rear arm when I broke it changing the springs... DOH!!! has held for the past 2 years no probs
