hi
was just curious as to what people have owned before the car they have now and see what we used to own before you went to audi. been driving just over 3 years, passed at 17 and i have owned
1st - x reg fiesta zetec s -17
2nd - x reg fiesta zetec s -17
3rd - 52 fiesta zetec s - 17
4th - 55 fiesta zetec s -18
5th - 08 fiesta zetec s - 18
6th - 55 A3 S Line 2.0 Tdi - 18
7th - 57 A3 S Line 2.0 TFSI - 20 (current car)

as you can see had alot of zetec s's but there such good fun and fast for a 1.6 lol

I have had somthing like 60 odd cars probably a lot more LOL to many to list .but had mk1 escort mexico (regret selling that ) MK2 excort sports .MK2 CORTINA E'S .Missed out on a mk 1 cortina gt off my dad he scrapped it :s...would be worth grands now ...
mk1 golf gtis ,mk 2's mk 3 & mk4 's then avr6 .Sierra 4x4 Loads of bangers inbetween .even owned a fiesta ....oh and a triumph dolomite sprint lmao ..8l audis a few ventos ..i have had some knackers lmao..oh yes and the XR3's embarrasingly

interesting that people moan about car insurance for the young today...

I had a MGB in 1977 when i was 18...it cost £400 a year TPFT !!
I just looked that up in todays values and got this..

Current data is only available till 2009. In 2009, the relative worth of £400.00 from 1977 is:

using the GDP deflator
£3,400.00

using the average earnings

You see all you young guys its always been the same so dont feel hard done by :)

1981 - Audi 100 ( best car ever ! ) personal car
1984 - Pug 405 (worst car ever ) company vehicle (forced on me )

1991 - Rover 216 - ok company car
1994 - Another one
1996 - Rover 45 ok company car
1997 - 1999 - Saudi Arabia Toyota Cressida - surprisingly good !
2000 - Rover 416 ok company car

2009 - retired and bought A3 sportback 2.0 TDI first car I have owned since the Audi 100

Currently love it and adding bits in moderation

Insurance for Mrs F and me £375 per annum 2010 -11

Right then:

1. B reg diesel Escort van (alright, what car can carry 10 people on a mattress in the back!)
2. F reg Peugeot 309 SRi (unreliable & got bored of trying to convince people it was a better handling 205 1.6...)
3. M reg Mondeo 1.8LX (not bad - fitted bikes or scaffolding in it & was quick enough at the time)
4. 02 reg Golf mk4 GT TDi 150 - much comfier than the S3 but repeated turbo issues
5. Current car on my sig...
