OK Peeps...I will be getting a new TV soon to replace my crap 32" Sony Bravia LCD TV that I bought (at huge expense) 4 or 5 years ago......not going down the 3D route yet, so looking for LED or LCD or Plasma

Its gotta be 40 - 42" Looking at Samsung these features look fantastic....
All share - TV Wi-Fi connection that allows you to send stuff from your laptop, camera or phone to your TV

Motion Plus - Adds in more frames that the 50Hz current TV signal provides, reducing blurring due to motion

Internet TV - Allows your TV to connect to the internet to access iplayer etc,

LED - apparantly gives much higher contrast and allows the TV to be really thin.

Anyways....opinions please :)

get a sony with google tv...thats the future!

I have a samsung le40c580, but my friend just got a Panasonic plasma 50" jobbie (sorry I don't know the code), and it is brilliant! Cost about £600 more than mine, but it's very good indeed!

I currently have a Samsung 52" LE52A656 LCD, 6 series (Red tint) Cost me £1700.00 almost 2 years ago, amazing TV and it still sells for about £900.00

However, Tvs have moved on quickly and i cant afford to upgrade just yet.

Quite simply i would wait a few more months!

LED 3D is the way to go, the new 3D tvs that do not need glasses are out in April and as soon as they arrive the 3D sets that use glasses will plummet in price!

By May/June i suspect you could easily bag an LED/3D bargain.

The price your looking at now for LED 40"- 42" will be the prices of the LED 3D 46" - 52".

Just watch and wait!

If and when you do choose to buy i advise you buy from here Welcome to Crampton & Moore online store - - Crampton & Moore (TV) Ltd, they provide warrenties in case of accidental damage or even if you change you mind and have very competitive prices

We've got a 42" Panasonic Plasma, and i'd highly recommend them.

LCD's are pretty awful in comparison.

3D is completely pointless. Might be fine as a bit of a laugh in the cinema, but i dont really want Janine Butchers head looming out of my TV screen at me thanks. Its just a distracting gimmick.

I agree on all points. Have an LCD for price reasons, but my mates panasonic plasma is sensational.

And 3D is lame I think, it just doesn't do anything for me.
