I Really Like the BBS LM wheel and have seen the following pictures which make me want the BBS LM style wheel from ebay... anyone got any other pictures appart from the following?

While im asking for help... do you guys think that the 18's will look too small?

Thanks

First of all, up the NI cars running LM Reps lol Second 19"s are the only way to go with them due to their look

wow, not usually a fan of lm's but that 2nd one looks gorgeous!! All this rep talk is a joke tbh, once there on who knows!! OK if your one for shows n meets but as a daily driver spruced up I'm game for reps any day :ninja:

there is an american company called Volks (i think) that do a version of the LM's, proper split rim jobbies but they are like BBS, you pay top dollar for them, but the quality is meant to be top

Yeah I'm not gonna pay top money for them.. The reps are alot cheaper but just need to know the 19's will fit the A3 nicely... The higher the ET number on the offset the further out or in they are??? Can anyone tell me?

Think I'll have to order the coilovers at the same time to not have the horrible arch gaps!

lower ET further they go out basically

I think it's a Photoshop yeah! The other two are from that autoalloys.co.uk or what ever it is which I assume is based in NI... Yes Iv only just realised what you meant by NI...

i iike the lm reps they look alot more expensive than they actually are they have my vote for sure thats why im thinking of getting some for my car or bbs ch reps

i really shouldnt be looking at this thread... am starting to develop a want for LM's someone tell me its a bad idea and not needed... please

lowerage will change it completely mate

i know im countin down the weeks till i can get it done but its the end of feb/march so its not too long now im going to lower it first tho as ive already got 18' wheels so if i cant afford wheels then at least i can lower it and get it look nice

not helping mate lol
i dare say i will get bored of the OEM ones at some point, but think i can hold off for another year, till i got all my performance mods done
performance is important and in my opinion the S3 looks good anyway so at least you dont have to rush out and buy wheels lol

very true, the S3 is a very good base car to start with looks wise, but thats the problem, there is very little you can do to it to make it look better without spending big money

yeah i know what you mean you dont see alot of heavly modded S3's looks wise do you, i think you can spoil the looks of a car by going over the top

you really could!! just need a careful choice of wheel, unless i decide to go with the sleeper look and keep it standard... decisions!!

maybe ill just get a refurb, change the flavour a bit, they need it as got a few curb marks... only wheels ive ever caught!! :(

Nobody wants to see 'spinners' N8... They are so 2001... Haha only joking...

Would ET42 on 19's fit on the A3 with no problems? The LM reps in 19 are ET42 I think...

So I hear that the sportback S3 rubs easier than the 3-door? What are the limits on wheel size for sportbacks N8? I am on stock suspension now, but I may add H&R springs lateron

19" x ? and it depends what size tyres you plan on running...

What wheels do you plan to run?

not sure the width of the rim... ebay is blocked at work so i cant have a look... hopefully its 8 or 8.5....

Using my phone i have found some which are ET48 19 x 8.5 .... can i spacer these out to fit?

OE s3 facelift. 18" ET56. If I change it will be the ones on the RS3 (the rs6 replicas), but I don't have the details on those.
