had some fun yesterday with a mint white integra, both pulled out of shell garage at the same time, i was right behind him at rounabout leading to steep 2 mile dual carriageway which is called rossendale bypass, he gave it everything on the roundabout and went stright in to the outside lane even though no cars in slow lane, i was right on hes bumper and he pulled over, i came off the boost though with being right behind him and lifting slightly off the throttle, the integra was screaming i rammed in to 4th gear and pulled away slowly. i slowed down after showing s3 was obviously quicker, he kept behind me till m65 slip rd and tried to overtake getting on to motorway, i couldnt resist showing the s3 s torque and gave it everything after less than a mile id pulled well over 100 yards, i slowed down he came passed and gave me a thumbs up.

Lol I find these kind of threads funny.

Yep.

Although I'm guessing writing about how you got your *** handed back to you on a plate isnt as much fun

pipewerx 3inch downpipe, decat, pipewerx catback, neuspeed big cone, apr stage 2.

I had my **** handed to me on a plate the other day...

Brand new 60' plate 911 Turbo, lol

I obviously new I didn't stand a chance but judging by the way this bloke was driving it I reckon he had just picked it up. We came to a round about the heads up hill on a dual carriage way so thought I'd see what he had in his locker, lol turned ESP off for a decent launch lol 'not that it mattered'...

Gone !! By the time I grab 3rd gear he was about 200yards up the road ! It sounded gorgeous as well, he did slow down so I gave a large grim and a thumbs up as I passed him only to go round the next round about and head back towards my orginal destination... Haha

I need these mods!!! Friend has a DC5 and he hands my *** to me every chance he gets :(

A stage one map for a few hundred quid would even things out but the Integra is definitely a car which should be respected , especially when the road gets twisty.

Cheers.

I had a EP3 TypeR before my S3 and that was awsome round the twisties! But the DC5 is even better, so planted! LSD is also a big help!

But yes its alot easier to squeeze more power out of the 20VT, something i intend on doing after crimbo :icon_thumright:

The power to weight ratio is better in the integra. they are not the coolest car but do drive really good and def quicker than S2000! costs a lot more to mod an integra than an audi turbo.

My friend has a Ibiza Cupra which has been looked after by Jabba. He swears by them so thats were im going to go

The Torque Jabba seems to get from there maps is awesome, been in my mates Revo S3 and in gear acceleration is know where near :) he'd confirm that...

That's serious torque !

I agree that the Jabba map is great in 3rd and 4th which is where you want it i think, and 5th and 6th are still pretty impressive .

Jabba is just down the A1 for me, think I need a remap now with these good comment's I'm hearing! Does the boost hold on for longer? I find myself running out of steam at like 5k :(

Sound like a salesman don't I, lol

Boost does last well up the rev range but then it's still only a K04 turbo,

I know that from standstill with my mate I have the edge, it's more when your sitting at say 60 in 5th or 6th and dip the pedal, it just pulls away from his effortlessly...

And for the record I went for there custom map with only an air filter and 007p...

I had a dc2 for 4 years before my S3 and 1 year with both and I can honestly say the integra is a fine driving machine, it would take a well sorted S3 to keep up with it on the twisty stuff, to drive and hear the car was such a great feeling, I miss it greatly. I was very tempted to get the dc5 but wanted to go back to german build quality, was getting a bit tired all the noise of the type r. VTEC on the b18c6 engine is absolutly glorious, go on you tube and have a listen.

Pic of my old type r.

Definitely need to get to silly speeds to pull away from one, I only had the edge 3rd gear onwards in my AmD stage1 with a passenger in it, so with your stage2, I'd expect you to comfortably pull away. Standard car would be very close, probably come down to driver if anything, in my opinion.

I'd take Jabbas figures with a rather large pinch of salt to be fair ;)

Still as long as it puts a smile on your face thats all that counts :)

Thats very true and has this ever happened? if not here it is, on the way back from badger bills i had my *** handed to me by a mk4 r32 but to be fair i had no MAF so only had 190bhp.

if your maf wern't poorly it would probably be dead even.

and as for the s3 never being beaten, the two only S3 vs threads i've posted i got beat lol. impreza and rs4. i raced the impreza, i let off after he started to catch up after about 50mph. and the rs4 was just a play on some back roads, no way my old girl would keep up, but we had one hell of a thrash for a couple of miles.

I appreciate that Jabbas RR is suppose to be a little optimistic but using the liquid gauge which meant to be pretty accurate I see 260bhp and anywhere between 280-300 lbft torque on a regular basis...

Which isn't bad considering I only run an air filter...

Just out of interest, where did you mount this..?

Any pic's :icon_thumright:

I borrow my mates gauge so when I use it it lives on my lap :)

I've been tempted lots of times to buy one but I've got better things to be spending my £200 on, when I do though I'll go for the gauge mounted in it's own box and then buy the window sucker to mount it for when I need it, I personally wouldn't want to lose an air vent for it.

Sadly this isnt the case, i had the same happen to me with 2x mk4 r32s in bristol just as we came out the shell garage in avon meads right onto the m32/m4 they just have that little bit extra, both had milteks so couldnt comment on what else they had.

Well i left a mk5 r32 he bottled it on the twisties......and it didnt help with his bird shouting at him....lol

lol an easy win then, we were really going for it, with a remap though its an easy win for the S3

Thats interesting as ive had 2 blasts with a MK4 R32 and the first one I had the legs on it but the second the R32 had the legs on me very very slightly and im on a standard map. Also had a play with a MK5 R32 last week, he gave up as soon as we got into 3rd and I started pulling a bit (very annoying).
