has anyone had a water trap at the front,possibly bumper area,I have noticed after prolonged rain that when I go round a corner there is a sound of water sloshing around near the front of the car.

Hi,
The only place i get water trapped in my B7 A4 is in the boot lid, you can hear it swishing around when you open it, been to Audi on numerous occasions, still not fixed.

It could be blocked drain holes in the scuttle area under the windscreen. Its not unknown for these to block and fill the area under the battery with water as it cant drain away..??

I agree with Ekco163 and would suggest you get this attended to soonest.It is not unknown for water to eventually overspill into the passenger side footwell and take out the ECU.Essentially this is a crap design and is a common fault in other cars.
