Ko4 exhaust Mani will it work

once i called this company and if i recall this will fit the K03 and wont be direct plug and play for the K04
 
How long ago did ya call?
It says K04,Ill give them a call and let ye know fingers are crossed.
 
a couple of months ago
k04 and k03 have similar manifolds so it might be a good option for the K03 but not for the K04

but even...what we are really waiting for is an in-manifold...that would do a difference
 
at the start it says its for transverse mounted engines then bit lower down says works with longitudinal mounted engines thought these 2 different engines used different manis
 
If you look at the pictures for the transverse and longitudinal you can see the flange is in different places.Id say its the same mani just flange on different sides.Ill know more tomorrow.
 
longitudal engines... that not a K04 mani for an S3.... you may well be able to use this to fit a K04 to an A4 (one of the most popular Audi's in the states) but certainly not an S3...

Its the same style as an A3 K03 mani... a K04 'may' bolt on but it will position the turbo differently and nothing will line up (assuming the picture is correct)... you may even have to clock the comp housing to even get it to clear the mani...

Looks like a K03 mani to me...

Well that's that then the Gurus have spoken.
Someone out there has to make a good exhaust mani for the K04,I'am sick waiting for Jbs.
