Do it,
I've been round the block with remaps also..
AMD shafted my car and cost me a small fortue to get it sorted. Oettinger / RSD are the best by an absolute MILE in my opinion...
Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for 10 times over, I guarantee it.
I would NEVER have an AMD remap...
Memory Checksum errors apparently... in the ECU.. not related to the chip implant...
Until they prove me wrong, I will keep faith with AMD and see how it goes...
As for the remaps... I do a lot of motorway driving and there is a HUGE difference in the remaps at 70 and above... one gives much...
We shall find out soon enough people,
A must agree that AMD are a quality outfit, I have an Oettinger remap which has been great for the past two years...
I have taken the car to AMD for the first time for an uprated clutch and developed an ECU fault a few days prior...
They are sorting out...
Audi - Hales Owen have just done my S3 after I had a problem with the steering. They have done a fantastic job (1st for a stealer!!!!!) and I'm well chuffed as the car drives really solid like its just come out of the showroom!!!
Fortunately, this was under warranty so I don't know the costs...
People, Just before chrimbo a thread was born where several S3 owners were reporting stuttering at around 3000 revs just prior to the turbo kicking in... I have this issue but as I got married over the holiday season I kinda neglected the thread and missed the outcome....
Did anyone here have...
There all B*&stards!!!

It was only when I changed to Adrian Flux and read what is classed as a...
Damo
I am having the same problem, I get a sudden 'glitch' as I hit 3000rpm before the car goes supersonic on me!!! I will start the process of discovering why over the next few weeks (crimbo eve not a good day to start!!!).
Please keep me informed as to your progress, I will go back to...
People,
I have just obtained the Lidatek LE-30 Laser Diffuser for my S3 which I wish to Install... Its dead simple to install it's just that I am not mechanically orientated in the slightest...
How do I get behind the front grill to fit the diffuser module? Does the grill simply unclip...
Audi actually sub-contract out to Wicked Wheels...
Saw the Wicked Wheels van out the back of the Sutton Colefield Audi stealer only the other week doing work on a TT...
Dont dispair dudes... it's in dispute... I should genuinely be in in the clear on this one. I have sought legal advice and taken all the necessary steps...
fingers crossed...
Oh.. and just finalising my choice of either the origin b2 or the road angel to fit at the weekend, anyone know which...
Darn it!!
After 15 years motoring I've finally got flashed for speedin doin' 43 in a 30.
Fooooking sunday drivers... All their fault... Got stuck behind some 375 year old crusty on a sunday afternoon doing 18mph in a 30 zone, got to a duel carriageway bit where I could get round him, me S3...
