Hi guys.
Bit of a strange one but the other day I started her up after being sat for a few days and everything was sweet. After a good 90 mile drive with no issues I stopped off to fill up. When I tried to start up again, the engine kept cutting off. I had to give it the gas peddle to...
Bit more done over the past week. Managed to get hold of some vmaxx coilovers so been playing around to find what looks good and what I can get away with lol.
Pretty much slammed to the deck Haha. I Get a bit of rubbing on full lock and it looks like the liner screw, which I'm hoping to...
the rears as as low as i can go without taking the adjusters out, im getting a bit of rubbing so i might have to do the screw and liner mod. the front is sitting nice for my liking. im only maybe half way down on the thread so loads of play. silly question but what are the helpers? cheers
Iv just recently fitted a second hand set of vmaxx coilovers :) I'd like to go as low as possible but do i need to let them rest first. As they have already been used will they settle straight away?
Yes I no but I don't want to spend thousands on just alloys alone. It will cost me best part of £500 squid for decent tyres which should make up for it.
You could say the same for replicas I suppose, which is what my budget (the missus) will allow :whip:
Had a chat about the avus alloys (first picture) they only available offset at the minute is ET35 which I think is too low . I'm sure the minimum is 43 if I'm right in thinking?
Forgot to mention I iv also fitted 10mm and 12mm H&R Spacers.
10mm front on the right picture. Sits pretty much flush
12mm rear left picture. I think maybe 15's would be better, but on coilovers the 12's would sit nicely behind the arch I think.
I think I'm pulled to the last one that gray/silver effect looks really nice. This was the first picture I noticed that caught my attention
I'd really want to see them up close to be sure though. The picture might of been filtered
I'm officially joining the 19" club :whistle2:. I originally wanted some oem rotor style rims but since looking about I have narrow my search down to 3 potential candidates ;)
all of which are 8.5x19 et45 which is probably the max I can get away with without rubbing as I will be fitting...
