I sold the silver grille to recoup some of the 130 quid for the black one. Sorry. I sold the car last week too and went back to the reliable 1.9TDI sport Avant. My 2005 BLB engine had 2k worth of design faults to put right: chain driven oil pump to gear driven pump - 1500, tandem pump and injector seals etc - 600. Spoke to 3 different Audi Master techs and they all told me to go back to 1.9, they seem to be having no end of bother on the 2.0s, even the brand new cars - they said they wouldn't waste their money. Just a wee heads up in case.
Good luck with the grille change - it's as easy as the pics show and I'm glad you got some use from the thread.
