Totally agree. I was going to use the genuine Audi tips for my exhaust conversion but when we took off the original tip.. the material is too thin and flimsy and was told it could on be tacked on which could result in it moving or even falling off so instead had aftermarket ones made up
I have the same concerns although I do understand driving conditions and style play a big part in this. From filling up on the red with a range of 50 my car takes approx 52litres of fuel and shows a range of 475miles. My commute to work is only short: approx 3miles each way and I get 28/29mpg...
I’m not up to speed with what your car issues are but just to let you know. Mine was in for 5weeks for a rattle/knocking noise in the boot area and I complained to Audi FS and received compensation. Worth a shot.
I need to know the size of the tips of the 2.0 TFSI so if someone can kindly measure the width of theirs for me please..
Must be 2.0 TFSI
I'm having custom exhaust job on mine but don't want to go to the stealers for the chrome tips

Yes that's correct.
I've spoken to Audi
The diffuser is £140 inc vat
Chrome genuine tips £70 (approx)
Just need to find a garage to do the work.
Was hoping to speak to someone with some knowledge on this.
Can do a back box delete to keep cost low but wonder how that will affect sound
