My steering seems to have more assist/feels lighter after replacing my battery. Could it be that my old battery was so knackered that it wasn’t powering the electric steering system properly?

Yeah I originally thought it seemed kind of low for 225/17 tyres but it’s only really me in the car with not much luggage so probably is right.

I have a Sport with cloth seats albeit heated of course and passenger is considerably less warm than driver. Heating element damaged? Or can this be changed in VCDS..

Is 33psi front and 29 psi back correct tyre pressures for my 2009 A3 sportback 1.4 with 225/45/17 W tyres? I got these figures online as I don’t have the tyre pressures sticker on my car for some reason.

I agree. Had my 8P over 3 years definitely feels old. But even PFL 8V feels an upgrade.

I prefer the pre-facelift 8V saloon with its less angular look. Bit more elegant imo.

Seems to me just a scaled down A4 which is no bad thing but think Audi were a bit lazy with the exterior.

My 2009 1.4tfsi manual needed a gearbox recondition at 67k miles! Two other people I know also had to have theirs done. I’ve also read on forums that others have had the same issue. I think the 1.4 gearbox was made of chocolate.

im looking (still!) to get an 8v 1.8. Currently have an 8p 1.4. If the 8v is lighter and has more power and torque, how can it not feel as nippy?
