Did you make your decision?
I test drove an RS3 and it was good. The dealer let me 'make use of the available performance' and it really made me smile. I talked numbers and went away to think about it.
I then test drove a B8 RS4, with an equally accommodating dealer. Let me just say there was...
Hopefully you got this resolved by now, but mine was doing that too - when cold or hot, never under normal driving conditions... software update from Audi solved it (and a few other gearbox niggles, which were impossible to recreate, but annoyed me when they happened).
aha, that makes sense. I had to replace a headlight switch on a Seat Ibiza once. Clever parts guy said it was quite rare so was £££ and ordered the same part number but starting with an A rather than an S, which was the identical switch out of an A6 - saved £60 on a £140 part!
You're a star, thanks Darren.
Any ideas why some parts start with a 4 and others with an 8; and why there are two options for fronts? Is one a later option for the more powerful SQ5 Plus?
Hi all,
Does anyone have access to ETKA (is the VAG parts/workshop system still called that?)?
I am struggling to find a good choice of aftermarket brake pads/discs for a 2013 SQ5.
Several retailers list a Ferodo DS2500 or DS3000 part, but when cross-checking this against the Ferodo website...
I've got some BBS RK501s that are 18x9.0J on an ET32; and they fit with 235/40 no rubbing at all. Admittedly it's not dropped to the weeds, but it's not a 4x4 either. What makes you say that 19x9 ET33 won't fit an A3?
If you are thinking of buying a new intercooler, I assume you have already removed the EGR and the silencers? These will have a far greater effect on the way the car drives. The EGR is fiddly, but removing the silencers and fitting with straight pipes is very easy/cheap and doesn't really make...
Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but interested to know what Ads went for in the end?
Are you happy with the height/comfort?
Is the pic in your sig this setup? Or 'shopped?
Cheers,
Tim
Thanks Rhyso. Back to the drawing board.
On another note, you guys with Quattro 3 door's must have other cars for when transporting stuff round. The boot is crap/tiny on FWD, I can't imagine it being even smaller.
