    I havent heard of anyone doing that but does seem like a good idea and i'll be looking at doing it after the new year. i think it's the garage i went to (wallace Performance) they much prefer working on japanese machines apparently! I'm an operations co-ordinator for Weatherford "specialise in BOP's and pressure control equipment" looking to move back down south next year if i can find the right job in the right location. I think manchester has a bigger market for tuning garages and yeah that sounds like a good idea. I'm pretty new to this forum so its good to get to know a few people :)

    Thanks for replying sorry i've taken so long to get back to you. So your DPF has been deleted on VAG but is still physically part of the exhaust? seems like a good idea for future MOT purposes. I put my car into a tuning garage for an EGR delete and they reckoned there wasnt a revo code for an EGR Delete on our engine code only common rail. £500 is a great deal for the remap, really need to get this done now. I'm in Scotland but i work between Manchester and Aberdeen. I don't mind travelling if i know someone can get the job done right first time.

    Noticed on the last thread you had your egr and dpf removed/deleted, where did you get this done and have you had any issues or performance changes? ive got the same car and same engine code as you but struggling to find someone who can delete egr and dpf on my car?
