    Just wondered if anyone has any tips on how to clean the paint in the engine bay which has not been clear coated. I keep getting water marks on mine, I think from washing the exterior, and cannot polish them out with SRP.

    I have already tried Wolfgang exterior trim sealant but it did not seem to make any difference. I'll try some of the aerospace sealant and see how that works. Thanks.

    I've noticed that the two black rubber strips that run down the exterior of the A-pillars on either side of the windscreen get water spotted after washing or even if it rains. Has anyone else got this problem and any suggestions on a fix?

    Has anyone noticed a slight clunk when the MMI screen comes up? Mine does it as the screen just gets to the end of its travel as it comes out of the dash.

    Yes, I let it sit a good half hour. It actually seems as if the dipstick is picking up oil as it goes down into the tube.

    Has anyone got issues reading the oil level on the dipstick? When I try, the oil from the dipstick tube runs down the dipstick and gives a false reading. Even after trying three times and drying the dipstick each time, I can't be sure where the level is.

    I don't think it is the same noise, mine does the start-up whine but only for about 2-3 seconds and I have a 1.8TFSI.

    It just doesn't sound very Audi-like and it did not happen with my old 1.8T. The manual does say that there will be some noise due to hydraulic tappets but I don't think this sounds like that.
