Yeh BBS RS 2's, I'd agree about lighter colour but got these cheap, £300 and just has a refurb before I bought them. Gona keep them like this for now and when I get a refurb some time in the future, will get them back to orginal colour.

Possibly 3rd brake light?? Shouldn't really go off if a few bulbs are gone. Maybe connection problem? Have your tried cleaning the bulb holder where the bulbs touch the housing. Had a similar problem on my old escort.
