Happened to mine last year.Water has built up in the scuttle tray where the ecu and battery sit.This has leaked down behind the brake,throttle,clutch pedals(check up behind for wet carpet) and caused a short on the throttle sensor.My local audi specialist sorted this out for me.

Problem after scan seems to be the relays under the ecu are sitting in water so they are being replaced along with any corroded wiring.The housing will then be drilled to let any further water build up out

I had similar condensation on my driver side headlight,found that one of the bulb covers was missing.Since replacing there have been no more problems.

phoned breaker,no label on part so bought one from europarts today for £47 plus vat.

went for the europarts unit,with the comfort control for £47 plus vat.Will fit on weekend.Have already bought trim panel clips from main dealer cos they are bound to snap in this cold weather when removing.

Priced a new offside front regulator with main dealer - £110.Found one on e-bay from a breaker for £28 but this is off a b6 saloon.When i put in my b6 avant details it said the part was not compatible.Surely these parts should be the same for avant and saloon.

Hi guys,washed my car this afternoon and went to drop the driver side window.It went halfway down and stopped.Turned engine off to reset but all i get is a whirring from the motor and no window movement.Have lifted the window shut by hand for now.Any thoughts would be appreciated.
