Help please - Audi fault P1570 - intermittent starting when warm, but not when driving!

dont think it would be a fuel pump issue as there would be enough residual fuel in the system to start it then it would cut out. crankshaft sensor sounds most logical but i have heard of people having issues with relays of some sort that live under the ECU i think and also on a footnote i have...

Terrible MPG on 2006 2.0 TDi Avant Quattro S Line

140 HP or 170 HP, mine is a 07 BRD 170 HP and just had a remap done by Rick at unicorn with a DPF delete and an EGR delete which in hindsight was causing a lumpy idle when cold as it must have been stuck open. I have been back for a few weeks now and my MPG is around the 40-41 MPG mark and that...

    Remapping for 2.0tdi , any advice ?!

I have just returned from a round trip from Elgin in the Scottish highlands where I stopped in at M B Services and got my Hex Key and Balance Shaft done for £560 then went to Rick at Unicorn for an EGR and DPF delete along with a map for £600 (the missus will kill me if she see's the credit card...

    Boost Advice

Is it a plate with a hole(restictor) or a complete plate? If it is just the restrictor then thats where i have put mine and no codes but if its an actual complete plate then you need to map out the egr altogether to stop the codes showing.

    Bad starting

hi there, i have a mate who had the same problem as you on a vw touran i think it is but it was a VAG car any way, eventually his starter motor completely packed in and when he replaced it the problem was no more. I have never heard of starters doing this sort of thing but the way i see it the...

2.0 TDI oil pump / balance shaft failure?

Thats where i am getting mine done in a couple of months time and the next day popping over to rick at unicorn for a egr/dpf delete and a re-map. 560 quid is what kmb are quoting me for the job also. Honestly if you are going to get some one to have a look just get it changed its the same work...

2.0 TDI oil pump / balance shaft failure?

To be honest mate when you told us your engine code that was my first thought, as from reading up on various internet sites I think it is a fair assumption to make that yours is chain driven. I am no expert in any way what so ever but as a rule of thumb BLB's =chain driven and BRD's gear driven...

2.0 TDI oil pump / balance shaft failure?

2.0 TDI oil pump / balance shaft failure?

I am actually getting mine done in july by KMB or rather thier sister garage M B Services and they have quoted me 560 for the whole job, that includes the parts which are around the 250 mark, oil and filter chage aswell, mines the quattro aswell so I think its a bit more work as the subframe...

2.0 TDI oil pump / balance shaft failure?

Noticed you spoke to Ayr Audi, I assume you are near Glasgow. If so I know of a garage in Clydebank that do the work, havent used them myself yet but they were recommended to me when I was searching for someone in the area to do it, still think you need to get the parts yourself though. The...
