I believe so , it lists it as same part number on the website , my car was also a sportback , only difference I know of is the quattro models have a slightly different boot floor height but that shouldn't affect things .

Gutted , my S3 passenger front door has been damaged by a runaway trolley in Tesco ! Got the whole thing on dashcam as I was inside shopping for one item ! . Annoying thing is the trolley collection guy walked right past the offending trolley around 15 seconds before it came away from the wall...

Major component cover only reduces it by £40 and higher excess another £20 , not a massive difference, especially if pay monthly

Had my Approved Used 2015 S3 for coming up to a year and been offered an extra years warranty by Audi . It's £300 for full cover with £100 excess , cars done 30k miles with no issues other than a coolant smell that is under investigation , seems a common thing but they can't find a fault . Now...

Best thing , as suggested, is try both . I'm on my first S Tronic and personally I love it . It's not perfect, it can have a habit of changing up just at the point you want it to change down for example , but it can't know everything. D does change gear a little early and S hangs on to gears...

Asked the dealer if they would clean mine up when I bought it , they stood out like a sore thumb on an otherwise spotless car . They cleaned them up then painted them silver with no argument, looked spot on .
