    2006 audi a6 multitronic 7 speed vibration

The snub mount can definitely cause vibrations under load. Volvos have the same issue with that mount (though Volvo often calls it a "torque mount"). I'd probably hold off on doing anything else until you replace that one, and see if that fixes it, especially since you had no other fault codes...

    2006 audi a6 multitronic 7 speed vibration

Hello! So, owning a Volvo 850 T5 taught me that throwing parts (and oil) at things without exhaustive troubleshooting first is apt to get expensive really quick. If you have VCDS, start by seeing if you've got any error codes. If you do, that's great - it gives you a starting point. I'm no...

    Windscreen Washers died

Looks like it, just going off the fuses. You could have an issue with a switch or a relay, or the pump. :)

    Windscreen Washers died

They're in the left dash fuse panel - if you have heated washer jets, that's 20 (5 amp) and the wiper system is 38 (30 amp). The headlight washers are fuse 36, so it'd make sense for them to still work even if the wiper system fuse is out. There doesn't seem to be a separate fuse for the...

    2006 A6 3.2FSI - Throttle body adaption?

Christ. I guess this place is pretty dead unless it's about putting LED lights in cup holders...

    Allroad rear suspension?

It's a little weird that they said no "relevant" fault codes. What codes did they find? I don't have the air suspension on mine, so I haven't looked into that system, but as with ABS brakes, there's a valve block - the "air suspension solenoid valve block", I think they call it. It looks like a...

    2006 A6 3.2FSI - Throttle body adaption?

So, I've been having throttle body troubles. It's been clicking and hammering, and making the car difficult to drive. I thought I might have messed it up, unplugging it to get to some bolts changing the camshaft control valves, so I tried running the adaption, or basic settings procedure in...

    2005 A6 C6 - Engine hoist hook bolts?

Yikes... so an M10 "triple square" will probably work...? I'm going to have a bear of a time tracking down something like that around here without paying with body parts. Probably about and arm, and a leg. Thanks for the help and a starting point for my search! :) - S

    2005 A6 C6 - Engine hoist hook bolts?

Hey! Thanks for replying. Here are a couple of pictures. First is the engine hoist "eyelet", which is fastened to the engine below the throttle body. Then the bolts. It's fidgety to get a picture of the bolts, but I think I managed. Never seen these before, so I don't know what kind of tool to...

    2005 A6 C6 - Engine hoist hook bolts?

So, this is kind of a noob question, probably, but my A6 had an engine swap in February last year, after the previous owner somehow managed to blow up an N/A V6. Still a mystery to me how that might happen... Anyway, the engine hoist hooks/eyelet thingies are still on the engine, and I have to...

    Audi S6 V10 little problems

Okay, so you basically use the fog lights as DRLs? In that case, the bulb's going out. :) Don't know what you mean, man. I've got almost nothing to do here but focus on the car, because of Covid. :P :) - S

    Audi S6 V10 little problems

Okay, just registered here, so I might as well hit the ground running, right? :) I'm not a big fan of the "run it till it breaks then throw it away" method, so here are my proverbial 2 cents... 1) The connections/soldering looks corroded to me - is that just a trick of the light, as it were...
