    Selling car on Friday

As per the title. Car being sold on Friday (part-ex) - someone is going to get an absolute peach and perfect car. I will miss that roof down driving. Had a good time on this Forum - the knowledge and experience is absolutely fantastic. This is a good Site as well with regard ease of use...

    Windscreen mist up

From the pictures, it looks as though this is the "mist" that appears after you've used your AirCon. Soon goes - and then won't re-appear until you use / don't use the AirCon again. With the recirc button pressed, the misting usually gets worse and worse until you literally have to wipe it with...

    2016 s3 trouble

Have a look at Page 104 in your Owner's Manual. Doesn't say much actually, just to drive to a qualified workshop soon and have the fault rectified. Hopefully it's just a little hiccup and you'll soon be on your way. Interesting to see what message may come up tomorrow morning - if any ?? Good Luck

    A3 cabriolet Audi sound system

No sub-woofer with the Cabrio. In the Menu Settings, there's no Sub-Woofer sub-menu. Appears we have the Gala plus sub-menu. With the B&O System, the following blurb relates: " The top system in the new Audi A3 Cabriolet is the Bang & Olufsen Sound System. Its amplifier, located under the...

    A3 convertible (petrol)?

The Windbreaker cannot be used if there's anyone in the rear seat(s) - the design just doesn't allow. Does make a fantastic difference when it's in place - women's hair that might otherwise be all over the place remains perfectly in place. Particularly when the windows are up also. On the...

    Converting to petrol

I've always been a Flymo Guy. Recently had a Hand-Propelled Petrol Mower (Mountfield) bought for me and it is brilliant. Garden mowed much quicker as not faffing about with the electric cord all the time. Additionally, the little round circle of shrubs in the middle of the lawn is a dream to...

    A3 convertible (petrol)?

Have the Diesel version, so can't comment on the engine(s). Don't forget to remind him to add his "options" money to the above prices. If females are to ever be in the vehicle, then the Windbreaker is an absolute must !! Enjoy.

    6 Month Roof Clean

I'm not really a photo person - and I wouldn't know how to load them up to the Forum if I had them !!

    6 Month Roof Clean

Hmmm.....I looked at that with my previous car. It just seems such a precise art, with loads of warnings / tales of woe if you got it wrong from various forums. Rain-X takes literally 2 minutes to put on / rub off, so - as usual for me - I took the easy route !! Thanks for the advice though.

    6 Month Roof Clean

My 6 month routine of shampoo'ing and water-proofing the roof completed this afternoon. This is the 3rd time I've done it now and the exercise is definitely getting quicker / easier. Just wish I could buy the Autoglym water-proofer bottle on its own instead of having to buy the full kit. Got...

    Audi Air con service

It was part of the Second Year Service for me. I was surprised at it coming round so early. Can't recall any such services on my previous cars, although only kept for 3 / 4 years at a time. Detail includes: AirCon Service:£65.83 Includes: ACS: £46.14 Anti Bac Cleaner: £10.21 Refriger: £9.48...

S3 caught doing 140mph in Wales

What some above are not factoring in is that the majority of motorists are not expecting a vehicle to go "hooning" past at twice the legal limit. Some are even surprised by a vehicle going past at 90mph. It's not so much of how good a Driver or how suitable for the conditions you / your vehicle...

    Particulate Filter help

I did, that's why I typed my reply. He didn't change the gears. When this happened to me, I kept driving in the same gear for half an hour each time and it wouldn't clear the fault. When I went through all the gears, this cleared the fault - and has kept it clear now for about six months and...
