Hey guys, as the topic states my S3 creaks at slow speeds when I lift off the throttle. It sounds terrible. It's hard to pin point where it is coming from but I'm pretty sure it doesn't do it when I'm giving the throttle even the slightest of touches.
Has anyone come across this before?

I had it when I had a P-Flo fitted. Really done my head in even though I was told it was normal. I've since taken the CAI because I was sick of it. If there is a CAI that doesn't do it I would buy that. Until then, stock for me.
I have GAP and a Cobra Tracker fitted by Audi. If I'm honest, if it gets stolen they can keep it. Trying to sell a stolen and recovered car would be a pain plus is reduces the value.
Far rather have the amount I paid for the car back from the insurance company and move on...
I think there is a lag when changing down if you have no pressure on the accelerator. Mine certainly does anyway. If I squeeze a bit I get a faster gear change.
I'm shocked people are getting such high mpg. I drive from Aberdeen to Newcastle and back every weekend and I've never seen my average go above 29! Usually about 27.....gutted!
I get a judder around 80mph but not when breaking. Recently had tyres fitted and balanced but no change. I'm thinking it could be the spacers I have fitted. Taking them off this weekend to check.
Cheers guys. It is open. Drive to Audi was a bit sedate with the original map on. Might leave it on for a few days so when I put the stage 1 back on I'll be wowed again!
Hey guys, nice quick easy question. With the engine off should the flap be open on an S3? I done the flap mod ages ago but reverting to standard for a service tomorrow. Can't remember if it needs to be open or closed though I think open.
