Yeah ... not sure ofexact code. All i know there was a wiring issue. A bit of fiddling and the code disappeared.

My esp light has come on when my front wheel abs sensor was faulty. No abs light came on .. scratch head ... it worries me little.

You would however have a noticeable difference in the way the ar drives you would see it instantly if you looked into the engine bay. Its likely an abs sensor. As suggested above get someone to scan the car for fault codes.

Its the one that comes up onto the intake manifold from the right hand side of the engine bay

secondly when i bought my car they had to replace the haldex ecu to repair it.

It also happens if the boost hose to the throttle body comes off.

Any luck with the vw guy. Its seems i am having the same problem now. I have checked everything stated above. Even went ahead and installed a catch can as to replace all the rotten cracked brittle hoses if the pcv system. Will have to get a smoke/leak teat done. I refitted tip checked boost hose...

Take it to a shop and get a leak/smoke test done.

Mine was doing that exact same thing its not TIP side. You have a boost leak somewhere what is your boost gauge reading when its makes the whizzing noise?

The elbow from the turbo to the charge pipe had torn.
