    Failed MOT on emissions, help!

Hi there, this is the B5 forum, you're more likely to get a reply in the B8 forum https://www.audi-sport.net/xf/forums/131/ Your local mechanic sounds rude. "Doesn't like Audi's" - guess he doesn't like money either. I think it's worth trying another garage. Hopefully someone in the B8 forum...

    Radio Switched Power?

No worries. I've just checked and I'm missing those two wires so that must be the problem. Now I'll need to figure out the pins on the cluster side. Thanks for your help @B5NUT

    Radio Switched Power?

I'll pull the cluster out and have a look for the wries you mentioned. Sorry I didn't understand the bit about the kline, I got confused but I'm with you now. Thanks again

    Radio Switched Power?

So you doubt the missing kline is the problem here? Your point about the cluster is interesting but I only have a half screen (see below) so I'm not sure if that's the problem here. Would running kline from the diagnostic port to the radio potentially solve my isssue?

    Radio Switched Power?

Don't suppose you know where the kline runs to? I removed the trim from under the steering wheel and had a look around but couldn't see any dangling wires.

    Radio Switched Power?

Thanks guys. Appreciate the advice. @B5NUT My car is a 2000 so I assume that means it has a kline? Given that I've already tapped into the fuse box with my add-a-fuse solution, do you reckon I should try cutting constant power (red & blue wire)? I wondered why you'd have a switched power and...

    Radio Switched Power?

Hey everyone, My B5 unfortuntley had some bodged wiring to install an aftermarket radio  Luckily, I managed to find a geuine loom with the right connectors so I bought that and wired it up. Speakers work but I've got one issue. When I take the key out of the ignition, my radio stays...

    Bit of an odd reply...

No, he's really not. I'm alright buddy. If you can't give me the basic maitenance information on a cheap...

    Xenon Auto Leveling Delete?

Hey Guys, I've had a look at a few threads now but can find what I'm looking for. I'm wondering how easy it would be to delete factory xenon's with the auto leveling feature. Is it just a case of fitting non xenon headlights and removing the auto leveling brackets with sensors? Do I need to...
