So I've done some more digging on subframe part numbers on 7zap and this is what I've come up with...
Facelift 98-02 4 Cylinder:
4B0 399 313 DK - EHW, FTK gearbox
4B0 399 313 CS - DWR, DWQ, ENP, EEP gearbox
8D0 399 313 BK - DWR, ENP gearbox
4B0 399 313 DJ - DTT gearbox
Facelift 98-02 6...
Thanks for your info Andy. I was hoping someone would suggest that they're the same as the FWD subframes. I'll need to do my own digging and check some part numbers :icon thumright:
Hey Guys,
Just wondering if all B5 quattro front subframes are the same? I believe the S4/RS4 subframes are different but what about the standard quattro ones? I've got a TQS and I'm looking to get another subframe to powder coat etc.
Cheers
Not a problem. Sorry to hear you're having issues. I did successfully replace the front speakers but I didn't pick anything fancy, these are what I chose...
So I had a look in the boot for the option code sticker and discovered my interior code is N7Q/BS
I did a bit of research and BS = Onyx
I even phoned Audi to confirm this was the correct colour although they couldn't tell me what N7Q stood for. However, I used an option decoder and it gave me...
Hello,
If I'm not mistaken, I believe the TQS interior has a slight blue tinge to it and I was wondering if anyone knew the name of the colour or if a paint/dye code exists? A dye would come in handy if I ever need to repair the leather seats and paint would come in handy for cleaning up some...

The only issue I encountered was that the original screws were too short so I just used two 4.0 x 30mm screws for the bottom and one 4.0 x 20mm screw for...
So I did even more digging and I'm confident I've got my answer... I'll share what I've found in the hopes it helps someone else... I'm gonna be using images from the following threads:
https://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/88590-Pics-of-front-door-speakers-inside-(non-bose)...
Following on from what EricTQS7 said, they're pretty good for rust, look out for the front wings and the tailgate but otherwise, it's pretty solid. Having said that, watch out for the rear suspension turrets/towers that the strut sit's inside. They're a common problem and I've recently replaced...
Anyone? I did a bit more digging and discovered that it's only the driver's side that's crackling. I also found that using aftermarket speakers isn't as much of a pain as I thought (I think), will some sets wire straight up to the BOSE system? Are there any adapters that are plug and play? I've...
This car is absolutely stunning! I aspire to get my TQS looking this clean. You'll have to let me see it in the flesh sometime, you're in Scotland aren't you?
