anti shudder valve I'm guessing this could create shuddering at idle? Just minor? As mine is doing this, and my EGR was quite oily, had it cleaned the other day as it's a bit leaky. ( outside only )

I have a slight judder too, but i recon its my DMF When i save the sheckles up, i'll get it changed I've put in some premium shell stuff, the expensive performance diesel is this a bad idea for TDI? does it affect MPG? What's DMF stand for and what does it do? for the newbie ?! ( me )

So i've had my thermostat replaced, this was the culprit for the Poor MPG / never reaching 90 degrees engine temp whilst driving. Coolant sensor was OK and didn't fluctuate. MPG readings i'll update in a day or two, it seems to be a bit better, especially the Miles To Go looks promising, used...

any ideas what might cause a slight judder? it's spot on idle rev's around 900rpm, and doesnt move, sure it's not as its running rich due to the thermostat? I'll ask the guys tomorrow as it's booked in for it's thermostat change tomorrow finally

Hope mine will just be the thermostat too, report back with the MPG :) What MPG were you getting before? Mine idles well but does seem to have a slight judder at times, wonder if it's due to this? Also what is the optimum revs to get the whole 130bhp/ max torque out of this engine before...

the chaps at AVS in redruth Cornwall, ( very good service + price for any one nearby ! )have put it down to the thermostat, due to be removed and new one fitted on the 28th. Also coolant temp sensor may be replaced but VCDS/ Vag com hasn't shown any fluctuations with it. So this ought to sort...

Mine decides to stop working now and again, it's not the battery as range is excellent when working, I resync it probly every 2 days as it will not work some times, but does once i do the whole ignition/ on / press the buttons. any ideas what's causing it ?
