Coming down in price now, looks like a good time to consider buying one. I’ve been thinking about swapping mine for a newer one. Lads on the s4 owners getting 490bhp pretty consistently. Pretty crazy figures for not huge investment and still have practicality.

not a great weekend...new steering knuckles on the way....not all bad, most of underneath polybushed. New snub mount and bracket fitted. Will get all the new control arms fitted once new knuckles have arrived. Damn pinch bolts!!

Yeah on mine I just kept getting p0301 and p0304. Swapped the injectors after swapping everything else and it followed the injectors to the other bank. Lease it would rule that out without spending anything. Nightmare when they start aren’t they

Could be an injector problem? If you’ve swapped the coil packs and it didn’t follow try swapping the injectors around. Bit of a faff but would rule that out too. If still the same cylinders giving trouble then yeah could be a tensioner cracked.

After some research on transit customs I learnt how terrible there standard locks are. So went on the forums to see what people used and they recommended that one. Was pretty shocked by the size of it. Bit more substantial that the original haha. I scared myself really :tearsofjoy:
