I have a passat 1999 tidi. The car boot does not lock up at all. When you press the button on the key, all the doors lock but the boot remains open. I have tried locking the boot with the key, but still does not work. Any ideas what the problem can be.

I am thinking of investing in a GPS sat nav system. Looking to spend about £400. I was wondering which is the best to buy.

Hi There There seems to be a problem with my climate control. At low I get cold air. But when I put in on 18 and 19 degrees it blows out hot air like its on 22 degrees plus. I have checked the coolent and that seems to be fine. Its weird, any ideas what the problem may be.

I have 110 bhp tdi engine. As I accelerate in 2nd & 3rd gear, up to 3100 revs the car seems to shift pretty quickly but after that the revs go up but there seems to be some sort of lag on the turbo. I was wondering if this is normal or could the MAF sensor need changing.

The car is still running fine now, been driving it for about 5 days. When the MAF goes is the problem there all the time or is it on and off.

No lights came on on the dash.

I been running it all day today and it seems to be fine. Like you all say, it seems like it went into limp mode and turning it off solved the problem. I will give it a few days to see if it gives me further problems. Thanks for all your help.
