I'm was in a similar situation, I love my 2001 S3, its only done 108k and has the RNS-E so got bluetooth handfree, SD slots for MP3's and sat nav. I could go out and buy a newer car with exactly the same spec, so would be a waste of time. My issue is the fuel gauge has gone bonkers, tanks...

No mate. they didn't get to the bottom of it? Strange. Got a decent offer though. Should get the money this week. Looks like were going for an A6 this time.

it had a service, cam belt change and water pump in January other than that no work has been done. I only bought it in November. only had a 3 month warranty

Not been on motorway but had been driving for about 30 mins or so. Just been the petrol station before hand and put £80 diesel in. :( When I had it service in Jan they said a had a slight oil leak but it was nothing to be concerned about just yet. So maybe it is a bit of oil fine on the turbo...

Yeh maybe I'll give them a call and see what they say. It had an rns-e installed when I bought it which may not of been in from day 1 I'm not sure. Everything else is deffo standard. Insurance are investigating the cause but I doubt they will find anything in that mess.

Yep already done it. Cheers again. Just got one last thing to do, I didn't wire the speedo to the rns-e so although I'm getting 7-8 satellites the nav only updates every 5 mins or so.

I have just retro fitted an rns-e in my 8L S3. All is working great but I get this symbol when I start the car (in the red bit not the yellow screen wash warning) My dis is pretty knackered but does anyone know what it is? If I turn the dis off and back on it goes back to displaying radio...

Oh yeh i'll be there, theres about 12 of us we always meet up with friends from wales. We have gone VIP this time, £165 each so i hope the extra was worth it! the free electric will be a bonus kept running out last time haha

Thanks a lot, I have been offered one for £30 the wrong colour so If it was £200 for the spray hopefully it will cost about £230. Suppose im lucky it wasn't one of the rear panels and just the bumper
