    RS3 v Tesla 3 Performance

Absolutely. I'd still be in my RS3 if I didn't have the option to do it the way I've done it. No contest.

    RS3 v Tesla 3 Performance

Yeah, I'm paying £24 a month for my Company Model Y. Throw in £5 a 75% fill up and for a daily it's a no brainer. All the money I'm saving is going towards a big petrol powered blowout!

It was almost a life changing experience turning that off for good!

    Audio Underwhelming?

I have you agree, I'm in a Model Y now and the sound system is night and day better than the RS3 was. Not even tweaked the settings yet either. It's ridiculously rich and all bass ranges are covered with no drop-off. Mind you, miss the 5 pot!!

    Car Cover

Same world where people think getting protection applied by a dealer because they're the experts is a good thing. With car covers it's simple - ever dry wiped your car with a microfibre? Immediate swirls. Multiply that by two weeks of wind gently rippling, dust getting underneath and people...

B pillar rattle / general rattles

Have you lubricated your door seals recently with Gummi Pflege? If not it might be worth a go.

B pillar rattle / general rattles

I had similar in mine, but it turned out to be the rear door cards. A bit of thick felt tape behind, but under the card (not visible) sorted it. I usually put it under roughly and half on show at first, then drive for a few days to see if it works before fixing permanently. I only use 15 to 20mm...

It's goodbye from me - some closing thoughts

Thanks both, I intend to keep browsing and will contribute as and when I can, especially as more and more owners start collecting their cars.

It's goodbye from me - some closing thoughts

I sold my car today, more on that shortly, but just wanted to say thanks to all posters and contributors on here, it's been a good place to be both pre and post delivery with some useful insights. So on to the car. In short, I've absolutely loved owning it, but the love ran out on my return...

    Headlight condensation

Those pics are evidence enough that there's an issue. I've never had droplets form on the inside, only a light misting. Sent from my SM-G991B using Tapatalk

    Steering Wheel Alignment

I've just run some gridlines over your picture and I think I know what may be throwing your eyes off. Assuming the photo has been taken level, the physical wheel is bang level, but the airbag is down to the left by a mm or 2. Even rotating the photo shows that the silver trim at the bottom is...

    Steering Wheel Alignment

It's so hard to tell to be honest, there's so much going on with lines and shapes. All I know is that on driving alone my hands feel level on flat roads. Sent from my SM-G991B using Tapatalk

    Steering Wheel Alignment

In my mind at first mine felt left hand down but driving on ultra flat roads at high speed in Europe confirmed it's bang on. The dash is a major factor here and tricks the mind a bit. I'm surprised they angled it so much. Sent from my SM-G991B using Tapatalk

    Illuminated door cill

I've never removed one however for a job like this I would mask off around the sill protector with 3m masking tape or similar and then saw cut using fishing line to cut through the tape. This works well when removing stuck on numberplates or badges. Sent from my SM-G991B using Tapatalk

    Warm up behaviour.

I've had much better results today, -7 first thing but I stayed out the car for 2 mins after starting and was able to drive straight off (after clearing outside during my 2 mins of chill time). The condensation caused by sitting in the car is a massive, especially if sitting there chuntering...
