Can I do this with VAG-COM?! Annoying if I can't as I've just had long life put in it and I don't want to be replacing it on only 10k miles!!! If I can't do it with VAG-COM - would a Skoda dealer be able to do it? Or would Audi do this for gratis?

Just had my 2003 A4 TDi 130 serviced by a local independant (other halfs dad in fact) and long life oil went in. When I reset the service indicator how does it know if bog standard oil or the long life stuff is in? Surely as the mileage can vary on long life as opposed to set interval with...

I wish I found this out a lot sooner - mine fell off and now it's badley chipped! Anyone know where I can get a replacement? Do they have to be painted?

I would avoid those "self refill" kits... When you have it done by a pro they do a lot more than refill the gas. They check how much is in the system currently, build the system up to pressure and check for leaks and also when they refill they use a gas that is mixed with all the required...

Anyone had this done on their A4? (Bumper and lower sil trim) How much did they pay?

Sorted! Used the Audi Base Code Decoder to add the options in - worked first time! Tested all but the anti hijack locking...... :thumbsup:

I want to enable the "comfort locking" (anti hijack) and maybe the audible alarm arm indication.
