I have lighting in my base 2015 US spec a3 and thought this would be plug and play. I have enabled all coding, but cannot get the lighting to be controlled through the mmi, and my rear doors (saloon) refuse to turn on too.
Is there another module that has to be changed other that the door...
I'd suggest getting an aftermarket oil pressure gauge. The oil light on these cars turns on when damage is already most likely done.
Last time, dealer told me to keep driving it, WITH the light on. [emoji2357]
Its prob your thermostat/water pump that needs to be changed. Its most likely sick open and when you are moving, the coolant is cooled and why you are not feeling the warmer heater air.

I don't know as I have the 3 wire, not the 4 wire. It uses PWM signal and the two will not work even if hooked up. You have to change your actuators to the correct one of the car.
A3/s3 - 3pin
Rs3 - 4pin
The 3 pin actuators is the wiring image above, however look at the colors of the wires to...
I ended up buying a whole new 3 pin actuators and controllers. Its the price of one oem actuator from dealer.
I have not managed to hook up into the ecu, which I believe is pin 28 as it comes with a remote and obd dongle if u want to open close at specified rpm...
So figured out the issue. There is the side egr valve on the side of the head on the back under the hpfp. That was not sealing correctly and leaking air causing the misfires on higher rpm ranges. I would either replace (about 150ish bucks) if you remove it and can blow on the plastic piece and...
Honestly it's hit and miss and I've had my fair share of trying two brands without success. Another buddy had the vwr and got no success while tracking.
I now have a oem pcv in a catch can and this seems best with the newest oem revision.
There just is too much vaccum created and it gulps up...
Put an rs3 exhaust on the normal 4 banger to better control the sound. It's very quiet with flaps closed and similar to a straight pipe when open!
The fabrication of the y pipe wasn't as hard as I thought it would be, but my welding needs some more practice [emoji28]

Best to remove completely and then clean off old glue and replace with new 3M tape. Water and debris gets trapped and starts getting the glue brittle, leading to the failure to bond.
Use a heat gun when removing and do slowly and it's all pretty easy overall
