I usually turn the car on in accessory mode (engine is still off) and make sure that the doors are closed before coding, otherwise I end up with weird stuff like that. There also may be differences between trim levels (mine is a Prestige in the US market).

I haven’t ever seen this one before, and I've always wanted the parking brake to set automatically when I turn off the car. It seems to require a security code, but I just tried the first one in the list of suggestions (40xxx, I think. Don't remember exactly). It worked when I turned my B9 S5...

Audi Matrix LED headlights can do that, but the Full LED headlights that are available in NA don't. For those, high-beam assist just toggles between low and high automatically depending on whether the front camera sees enough light ahead of the car.
