You will need a special vas tool to code the actuator it can't be done via vcds. It programs the limits of the Turbo vanes to the actuator

I made two slits either side and used bungee cord from the rear and it's made a nice holder you could also use some netting

It's a VAS6395B are your vnt vanes opening up fully or do you have same problem I had with sticky vanes that limit the movement and then throws up the mil light

Did your mechanic use the vag tool to reset the actuator up to your Turbo as this needs to be done so the computer knows where the closed and fully open positions are.

How low can you go on standard shocks. I've got an s line that's on standard shocks and need it sitting lower but can't find on the parts database the different shock codes like the older models used to have. So are they using the same shock on all of the 2.0 tdi range.

Could be corroded contacts on the window amplifier which is above the rear window on the near side once you've pulled the trim i just used contact cleaner on the copper contacts and was miles better
