You're right, I've just been out and sorted the RNSE EQ setting now, so thanks for the heads up. Also for some reason my iPod was set to Treble Boost EQ (I think from when I was using Bose in ear headphones which don't have a lot of treble), so that's been adjusted to Electronic and it now sounds syrupy sweet.
