its your thermostats gone bad. Mine threw the exact same code and the oil temp won't go past 80. Had the dealer replaced it under warranty and all good. Noticed the replacement has a newer part number so probably an improved version. Hope the information would help.
Some local shops charging 3grands to get the complete retrofit done but the parts themselves is a fraction of what they charge. I dunno how they change the Gateway with erWin but it's been done. I guess the premium price is for the tech part/software of the retrofitting.
Has anyone tried and successfully retrofitted the 2017 new digital virtual instrument on their A3/S3? Does it involve any VCDS coding or something behind? Any help is greatly appreciated!
Get an interface card with 2 or 3 input. Get a DLNA/AirPlay dongle, install in behind the glove box and you are all set using wifi to mirror image. All for less than $300.
Nice review sj. Are you certain going from 1.8t stock dp is the same size as the S3? I find most tuners still recommend dp upgrade with their stage2 ECU upgrade tho.
I came from the DSM world, first thing was always the intake. But the ARP Carbonio unit did change the way the car react in lower RPM ranges. Trade off the low end power for breathing better from 80MPH up
this is a video I took before putting the APR intake on.. Haven't had a chance to dyno the car with the intake, but I do miss the low end torque already..
