Got a 2.0tdi SB manual with just under 3k on the clock and had a strange experience with it yesterday. Just wondering if anyone has had the same.
Came back after a 25 minute gentle drive in the cool evening, temperature gauge showing normal, 56mpg average (so very gentle!) and when I turned the...
2k miles and 2 months of ownership of a 2.0 tdi Sport SB with SE suspension, the only thing I find a niggle is the lack of storage space and a struggle to get the ongoing average above 50mpg. Nowhere for coins, sunglasses, camera's etc which my previous Honda Accord had in abundance. But...
If you are more interested in the interior than the outside, I would recommend the Sport as it adds the essentials - good seats, climate control - plus a few niceties - nicer wheels etc - for a good price compromise. I went for the SE suspension as well and have to say, it's a great set up with...
No, just a basic Sport. I have to admit, it came up as a complete surprise when I phoned the only person for whom I have a Contact photo - wasn't expecting it at all. And just through the Bluetooth connection, no cable connection.
Just received a Rhino boot liner which fits brilliantly. They're made to measure to the extent that you can choose upper or lower floor position, high/low back, rear seats folded or up. £74. Can't speak highly enough. www.rhinouk.co.uk
Got SE suspension on my Sport and find it is perfect for the very poor roads we have around here. Certainly doesn't wallow and feels good around bends, but soaks up the bumps amazingly well.
SE suspension on my Sport due to the 3rd world state of the roads in Bucks. Soaks up bumps brilliantly and strangely, still goes round bends quite fast. Not quite as fast as the Caterham, but still plenty good enough for an old fart.
Definitely. Love it although secretly wishing I had gone for the S-Line. Got a chance to 'play' with Active Lane Assist at the weekend. Awesome technology.
Thanks to all respondents. Audi dealership has just confirm what H5 said having being flummoxed at first and having to look at a number of SBs to check. Looks like I'll have to return the car - can't live without rear cupholders......
Had a SB Sport for a week and thought I'd look for some of the minor things on the spec list, but just can't find the rear cup holders. Am I being thick or do they not exist despite the spec say they should?
Thanks.
2.0 tdi Sport just arrived today and it's fab. Just going to take me a week to work out all the clever gadgets. But on a more basic level, anyone aware of a purpose built dog guard for the 8V Sportback? Doesn't seem to be on the Audi accessory list yet.
