We have a City jogger push chair and it goes into our sportback s3 easily space to the left and right and of course above. we have no issues at all with 1 kid and the gumph to go away for the weekend in an S3 :)
I live in the same area as the OP and not long after I got the S3 someone had a go at the front door to my house this was back in January. House now has an alarm and also doing simple cheap things like sash jammers on the doors and windows really help as it makes them nigh on impossible to jimmy...
I can't work out if the S3 is quicker than my old Focus RS or not (mk1 btw no boat like mk2) The RS was around 350-375bhp and was just aggressive all the time, in the way it handled to the way it put the power down (mainly due to how it was modified and set up). The S3 doesn't feel as quick, but...
Only going by the video posted, I never said mine was as loud; I said it isn't much quieter than the car in that particular video, the point being once that car has got quite a few more miles on it, it will get a lot louder and that may also add the drone.
If I heard correctly the car has done 600 miles or so on the video? That's probably why there is no drone, mine is at around 2k miles now and isn't much quieter than the one in the vid and I still have my resonator!! The one in the vid is only going to get louder and more droney I would think.
Had both a BCS exhaust and a miltek on my focus RS as various times and the BCS quality was far far far better than the miltek in my opinion. SO BCS would get my vote.
Ahhh yes just re-read it! either way, the mk1 is an immense drivers car, although I am unashamedly bias!! Wouldn't mind having a go in the latest variant.
From what I have seen the pfl was and is aftermarket tuned far beyond 310ps without engine issues, so I would presume it would have been a software related increase, maybe an extra psi of boost and map adjustment to suit
