Gah!! .....I mean everything seems ok following their advice and I probably wellied it (for a short period of time) a handful of times in that period. But why they can't tell you that I don't know! I thought following his advise made sense! Doh!
Yeh I had white smoke now and again. Not loads but it happened. But also don't forget at the moment it's a lot colder so you will probably notice white smoke a lot more! The TFSi engine runs very hot!
I wouldn't say the engine was quieter after the work. Not that I noticed anyway.
What you are...
Hi B4
You've got me thinking now!! I'll double check about the head it was that long ago now but I am certain I had a new head too. It had previously gone in to limp home mode, this was because the spark plugs were clogged up with carbon deposits and weren't firing right. I first of all took...
Great news A4!!
I completely understand where you are coming from mate! Why get rid of it! I'm on 77k now, gutted really as I'm the same normally i would be looking to replace but there is no point, I love it too much!

I was told to run it in for so many miles, so take it...
Pfft. I think I dreamt the seeing it online bit but I'm 99% sure I read it on screen in Audi that my car had something done in relation to the filler cap as part of a recall or something. Take a look at this chat about it all...

Also Jackie, my first visit into Audi i was able to view my cars full Audi history on screen and mine was recalled in for something to do with the filler cap, also on my reading up online a while ago, somewhere online I found that a few years ago there was a recall on the filler cap lock not...
Sorted the boot release! MMI > CAR > Central Locking > Boot Release > Off. This means if when you're stationary, engine running, you get out, press the padlock open button on your drivers door and it will allow you to open the boot! Happy days! ;o)
