    The part on my car is Febi 31976 as shown, But when I look at timing belt kit at Euro car parts, this is listed for my car, with just a circular tensioner. Does anyone if there was a change over at some point on the B6 Fsi Awa engine. Thanks in advance. Paul

    The compression test was done hot / cold with and without a squirt of oil and WOT, the hot result was a couple of psi higher. The leak down was done hot / cold and no different with the readings.

    Hi Ovid, on VCDS the timing is all over the place. When setting TDC with rod in pot no 1, would it be when the rod peaks on its way up as there is some crank rotation b4 the rod starts to fall back down.
