I havent got the bentleys on N8, i'm on the standard 17's with the chunky tyres and the ride is still terrible. car bounces all over the place. TBH i'm thinking of selling up and going for an A4 instead, as having a 3 door and a 13 month old daughter just aint practical. Is air ride comfortable?

Hi mate I'm in the same boat as you, i recently fitted V maxx coilovers and it has ruined the ride of my A3, bumping and crashing all over the shop. It's that bad that i actually hate driving the car now. I will be taking the V maxx off asap and probably going for springs instead.

I wouldn't say that my car is that low tbh, and the handling isnt an issue, its the fact of how fecking hard the ride is, go over a bump and it shoots me out the seat. lol

i agree with what you say, i had KW V3's on my M3 and they were superb, it's just i didnt wanna pay top prices for suspension for a car that cost £6k. Although looking at it now i will have too as i wont be keeping the V Maxx for much longer.

I was leaning more to red N8 just to give it a dash of colour. Also, can i get shorter springs for my rears? I've swapped the adjusters over to the oem rubber mount and it's still way too high at the back. I dont really wanna have to change the coilovers if i dont have too. This is how it sits now

***UPDATE*** Well, i was snooping on the bay last week and stumbled across this little bargain. S3 front brake calipers with brand new discs and pads for just 300 notes. The guy i bought them off had painted one caliper and disc black but it was a mess, so i have stripped them down and stripped...

Dont be scared of using a DA on your audi, like its been said already the paintwork is rock hard on audi's. Only downside is your gonna have to work a little harder to get them swirls out. I thought i'd do a little test on my bonnet with my machine polisher just to see what i was up against with...
