anyone heard of them? im trying to source a cam chain tensioner for my 1.8T for reasonable money and GSF have one at £258 as oppose to £357 + VAT from TPS and say its made by Jopex, wondering if they are OEM supplier?

anyone got one? mine has got worn out and the cam chain has been wearing through the valve cover,

dont DD dynos always read power at teh wheels as oppose to flywheel?,,, your losses are mere transmission losses i'd of thought..

what map are you running? sounds like its overboosting and dropping into limp mode, and also why did the ECU need to be replaced? Intercoolers are indeed a limiting factor on these cars even with the twin side mount coolers you still get crazy inlet temps on a remapped car, however this wont...

good news so far by the look of it,

these cars arent great on fuel it must be said,, when i was tracking mine on fuelley i rareley got up to 30mpg so i stopped tracking it!!

send beachbuggy on here a PM now, he can either rebuild your turbo standard or rebuild with Ko4 hotside internals and that will really let your car breathe nicely. very reasonable pricings too

make sure you change the oil pump strainer and get the sump inspected at the same time,

nothing it bolts staright in.. woudl be worth getting the map tweaked at a later date though to unleash the full potential of it. i just got beachbuggy to rebuild mine to ko4-015 spec and port the turbine housing also.

you can log intake temp on vag com, had a leak on mine and that was teh "suction jet pump" big plastic valve with nrv's in it at teh back of the inleyt manifold near cyl number 4 neearest bulkhead on top of engine
