I bought a new one from Audi, it was about £250.

I replaced mine a few months ago, thankfuly it wasn't too complicated to do. Looking at mine, mine was beyond cleaning! My engine is CAGA.

Going to clean it up later and run it again, thankfully I have acess to an inspection pit, so I can get underneath. When I looked last night the dripping was at the rear of the sump just above the oil filter housing. Hopefully when I get a camera down there later it might reveal something...

Basically when it was sucked out there may have been a little bit of oil left in the sump as opposed to draining it out from the sump plug therefore ensuing all the oil has been drained.

My experience of this was when I did an oil change a while ago I used a suction device to take all the oil out, when I put fresh oil back in I got this notification. So on my latest oil change (a couple months ago) I decided to drain the oil from underneath and then fill up as normal. Thankfully...

FYI, the alarm went of randomly again this evening !

Believe it or not its the original battery! I have a dashcam, but it powers off after about 60 seconds of the ignition being switched off. When I get and dry day. I intend to have a look at the abs sensor for a quick check.
