Quite possibly haha, see what happens, want to try it a few times though. Brembos arrived today but it's still going to be a while away till everything's done.

Not too bad then, don't fancy taking a clay bar to the paintwork every week!

Do you find it builds up on the paintwork much? Lower half of the doors is always going to be a problem...

That's frustrating, how long is that between washes?

Sounds like a total pain, especialy if g5 doesn't stop it sticking! Does tar remover help removed the bonding agent? Could maybe try Autosmart Power C as it doesn't evaporate?

Been looking at getting the baffled sump from forge, surprised there's no kits you can weld in the original? A good ceramic wheel sealant and Auto finesse iron out will sort the brake dust problem!

Will maybe just stick with 2500's as I won't be tracking it till the turbos done, will switch to 3000's when they wear out. Getting the timing belt kit, water pump and thermostat fitted, haldex, gearbox & rear diff serviced along with oil, plugs and filters changed on mon/tues. Then will test...

It's the wear that worries me, don't want to be changing pads every 5000 miles of ordinary driving, will be needing changed before I up the power probably so may just try them out. Reading about them on the ferodo the "Not for road use, track only" statement had me worried abit, don't want to be...

Argh, I will email and try to cancel my order for the DS3000's. Was just trying to find a website that had the front and rear pads in stock. What are they like on the road when driving normally? Do they wear excessively fast compared to the DS2500's?

So I have now ordered Mtech slotted discs front and rear, HEL braided hoses front and rear, Ferodo DS2500 pads for the front and rear to go with the LCR calipers/carriers and RBF660 brake fluid. Will still need to get the seals/pistons/sliders and bleed nipples for when I refurbish them front...

Also are Leon cupra r and s3 rear hoses both the same? If so this kit is what I need for the hoses? http://www.nd-tuning.co.uk/brakes/364-goodridge-brake-lines-hose-kits-seat-leon-cupra-r-225hp-sse0402-4p.html

Found them in the mtec website, should I go for just grooved or get the c-hook ones? http://www.mtecbrakes.com/brake-discs/seat/leon-00-05/leon-cupra-r-1-8-20v-225bhp-bam-engine-09-03-09-05.html

Okay, will have a look somewhere other than ebay or send the guy a message and see if he stocks the non drilled.

Going to go for these disks if they are the right idea? Not ideal that they're drilled but these with DS3000 pads, braided lines and high temp fluid... Seat rear disks are 256mm vented same as S3 anyway...

Has he had any problems cracking disks because I will be avoiding the drilled ones anyway?
