    Do disc heat shields need to be there?

    My disc heat shields need replacing but I was wondering if they are really needed at all. If I just removed them would it make any real difference to the cars braking performance?

    Rear washer just stoped?

    Can anyone help? The washer on my A3 has stopped working , the wiper is fine and the front washer works fine too. I assume there is only one washer pump. There is no pump noise when I switch to wash. Switch maybe?

    Whirring noise when I switch of the engine- any ideas?

    I have an A3 S-line 54 plate When i switch off the engine there is a whirring noise like a fan slowing down, doesen't do it al of the time but more often than not Any ideas on what it is and should I be worried?

    Help on Nokia/Cullmann phone holder?

    I have just bought a 2004 A3 S-line and it is fitted, I belive from new with a Cullmann phone holder with a Nokia holder which is removeable. My question is can you buy different holders for more modern phones? if so from where? Thanks

    I need to replace the rear disc heat shields on my 2004 A3 S-line. A cople of questions. Is it an easy job? Is there anywhere i can buy them other than an Audi dealer? Thanks
