I may sound thick but what does it do exactly lol. When I unscrewed it from the airbox only half of it came away from the box. Do I need to get the other half out of the airbox. That part looks like a heat sink of some sort. Does it need to be fixed inside the heat shield?
I have fitted my s2000 filter to my AGU into an aluminium heat shield off ebay and its sounds ridiculous when the dv dumps the air. It sounds a bit like a Dyson echoing lol. Also what am I supposed to do with the sensor that was attached to the top of the air box? Not sure what it does lol
So should I keep my forge tip then? I was going to get a k03s but a mate of mine was getting rid of his A3 so I bought the whole car for £180. Stripped it for parts to go on mine. When I took the AGU engine out I realised it had a k04 001 on it lol.
Oh... that did bust my bubble lol. I thought I had a good deal on the forge tip. I only paid 50 quid for it.
Thanks for the links. The stage 1 link dont work and on the stage 2 link it says that they can supply and fit the best flowing tip for 135 fully fitted. Would that be the badger 5? If...
Sorry for not responding. Been working lol. I had a boost leak in one of the pcv pipes which is why put a catch can in. I checked as best as I could for more leaks but couldn't find any. I forgot to add to the list of mods that I have got a forge TIP installed also.
Ok I wont bother with...
Hi all.
Just wondering if you lot could hrlp me out a bit.
I have got an a3 1.8t sport 1998 AGU. I bought the car in feb last year and been slowly modifying it since
I want to take it to nick at R Tech some time this year (tax rebate in April lol).
My question is what esle would be best...
I haven't got a strut brace mate. Dv not hitting anything. All wheels are tight. I didn't change all these parts in one go so the wheels have been on and off numerous amount of times lol
