Cheers guys, good advice. Been quoted around £130 from a local place (dentrewind.com) and they said around 2-3hrs because they'd need to strip the interior trim.

Just done some checking on dent removal guys, seeing these pics of dents they've removed gives me some confidence. http://www.dingmaster.co.uk/images.html Still a pain in the @rse forking out for it though, was looking to spend cash on window tints next, not getting dents remove!

Not sure how it was done, pretty sure I've got no chance of working out who did it, all I want to know is has anyone had similar removed by a dent removal person and if so, what was the damage. Not too happy about it but it's happened, just want to get it sorted. Full wing respray though...

Got one of these in Sainsburys today :mad: Paint's not cracked, no scuff mark, just the dent right on the crease. Anyone know if those dent removal places would be able to sort it, and how much I'd be looking at?

@Hansen - have you got any more info on the source, or part number recall? I've just replaced 4 OEM RS4 alloys because they were buckled beyond repair. Might have missed the original recall because they were fitted to an A4 Avant Sport as an extra, but would like to know if I've got a case for...

I remember a couple of guys on the uk-mkivs.net forum posting about sunrooves and rear windows blowing out, bit extreme but that was somehow linked to pressure build-up. So, probably best to go for the open window solution......

You've just answered your own question :icon_thumright: Used to happen in my Golf with the sunroof open. Open a rear window a few mm, problem solved.

Mr Clutch quoted me around £385 for a new clutch ('03 FIS Sport Avant), only got a quote from them so not sure if it's any good. Would be interested in prices too as I'll need to replace mine shortly

Sure, there you go - reading from the options book they're electric Recaros with the pull-out thigh extension bit, I'm guessing the trim's leather / alcantara. Whatever they are, they're super-comfy :icon_thumright:
